Aggressive Bible Verses



Included here will be a memory verse selection that includes our favorite aggressive verses to help purge your inner weakness. Aggression is highly beneficial when channeled and aimed at your own weakness. Put beneficial aggressive thoughts into your head. Aim for one verse per week.

This list is not exhaustive but should give you enough material to work on for at least the next year. It is imperative for us to be able to harness our warlike nature and direct it at something. For most of us, there is no external war, so we must turn to our internal insufficiencies and wage war on them. Build your strengths on the ruins of what once was your weakness.

Week 1

“On that day Joshua took Makkedah, and struck it and its king with the edge of the sword. He utterly destroyed them – All the people who were in it. He let none remain. He also did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho”

Week 2

 6. “But the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow about this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.” 7. So Joshua and all the people of war with him came against them suddenly by the waters of Merom, and they attacked them.”

Week 3

8. “And the Lord delivered them into the hand of Israel, who defeated them and chased them to Greater Sidon, to the Brook Misrephoth, and to the Valley of Mizpah eastward; they attacked them until they left none of them remaining. 9. 1. “Contend with my opponents, O LORD; fight against those who fight against me. 2. Take up Your shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.”

3. ”Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers; say to my soul: “I am your salvation.” 4. May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame;may those who plan to harm me be driven back and confounded”

1. “Do not fret over those who do evil; do not envy those who do wrong. 2. For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender plants.”

12.  “The wicked scheme against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them, 13. but the Lord laughs, seeing that their day is coming.”

  1. May I just say what a comfort to find someone who genuinely knows what they are talking about on the net. You actually realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important.
